LEGAL ADOPTION (KAFALA )

Requirements:

1. Maximum age for the man: 60 years.
2. Maximum age for the woman: 55 years.
3. The Kafil must be in good health (medical certificates required).
4. The Kafil has to be a Muslim confession and Algerian nationality.
5. Decent accommodation.
6. Evidence of conditions is similar for a single woman, widowed or divorced.

Documentation Required:

1. Written request and reasons.
2. Birth certificate of both spouses.
3. Family form (Fiche Familiale) of the couple.
4. Medical certificates.
5. Criminal records delivered by authorities of the country of residence.
6. Work certificate.
7. Pay stubs of the last three months.
8. Copy of the consular registration card.
9. Title of property or lease.

ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE TRANSLATED IN ARABIC OR FRENCH LANGUAGES.
