The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received today a phone call from his brother, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, brotherly country, Ali Al-Sadiq Ali, mainly focused on the review of ways to strengthen bilateral relations and consultation on the developments of issues of common interest at regional level.

Minister Ali Al-Sadiq Ali took the opportunity to congratulate Minister Ahmed Attaf for his appointment as head of the Algerian diplomacy.

During their meeting, the two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the historical relations of brotherhood, cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly countries, stressing their aspiration to explore together the promising prospects of bilateral cooperation in the economic fields in the best interests of both parties.

Mr. Attaf reaffirmed the permanent solidarity of Algeria with Sudan, a brotherly country, in favor of its security, stability and recovery of its rightful place in the continental organization.

Regarding political coordination, the heads of diplomacy of the two countries exchanged views on a number of Arab and regional issues of common interest, reaffirming the importance of reforming and strengthening joint Arab action for the preservation of Arab national security in all its dimensions.

Mr. Attaf receives a phone call from his Sudanese counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received on Sunday a phone call from his brother the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the brotherly Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi who congratulated him on his appointment as head of the Algerian diplomacy. The two ministers exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan.

This phone conversation was an opportunity to review the bilateral relations and the prospects for their strengthening. The two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the progress made in the implementation of the guidelines of the leaders of the two countries, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his brother King Abdullah II Ben Al-Hussein, particularly with regard to the launch of a direct airline Algiers-Amman and the activation of the economic cooperation committee in addition to strengthening exchanges between economic operators on both sides. They also agreed on the need to schedule preparatory meetings in anticipation of upcoming bilateral events.

The two ministers also discussed several issues related to the priorities of joint Arab action including the Palestinian cause and the challenges it faces in addition to efforts to unify the Arab ranks and the restoration of the Syrian Arab Republic to its rightful place at the regional and international levels.

Mr. Attaf receives a phone call from his Jordanian counterpart

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune had, Friday afternoon, a phone conversation with the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, on a number of issues, including in particular the method with which a national holding dual Algerian-French nationality was exfiltrated by the French consular services in Tunisia, on the date of 06 February 2023.

The phone conversation has cleared up several ambiguities concerning this case that has caused dissension in bilateral relations. The two presidents agreed to strengthen the means of communication between the administrations of the two countries, in order to avoid the recurrence of such situations.

On this occasion, the President of the Republic informed his French counterpart of the forthcoming return of the Algerian ambassador to Paris.

The two presidents also discussed bilateral relations and the various ways to implement (the Algiers Declaration), signed between the two countries during President Macron&#39;s visit to Algeria last August.

The telephone conversation has, moreover, allowed to discuss ways and means to strengthen and promote cooperation between the two countries, including the state visit to be made by the President of the Republic in France, and to review regional and international issues of common interes.&nbsp;

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community abroad, Mr. Amar Belani, received Thursday, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Algeria, Elizabeth Moore Aubin.

The meeting allowed the two parties to discuss bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various areas, and exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest, including the latest developments of the Sahrawi issue at the diplomatic and judicial.

The two parties also discussed the efforts made by the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura, to revive the political negotiation process between the two parties to the conflict, Kingdom of Morocco and Polisario Front, based on good faith and without preconditions, in accordance with relevant UN resolutions.

The talks between the two parties also focused on Algeria&#39;s tireless efforts to promote stability and security in the region.

The two parties reviewed, on this occasion, the Algerian-Saudi relations marked by a historical asset made of the most beautiful illustrations of brotherhood, cooperation, solidarity and mutual support between the two countries and peoples, expressing their willingness to work together to ensure the proper preparation of the next bilateral events to serve the common objectives in the political and economic fields.

The two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the great convergence of the positions of the two brotherly countries around the main issues of common interest at the regional and international levels, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen joint Arab action, especially since Saudi Arabia will be entrusted with the presidency of the Arab summit by Algeria during the next summit in Riyadh.

On this occasion, Mr. Attaf and Choukri reviewed the relations of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries as well as ways and means to promote them to broader perspectives and proceeded to an exchange of views on issues of common interest at both regional and international levels, including those related to the Arab region and its central issue, the Palestinian cause.

The two heads of diplomacy agreed to continue efforts to boost the mechanisms of bilateral cooperation, to consolidate the consultation and coordination between the two countries on all levels in order to meet the aspirations of their two brotherly peoples and in the best of their common interests.

The meeting allowed to evaluate the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and to praise the efforts made by the ambassador for their development.

After welcoming them and wishing success in their missions, Mr. Attaf reviewed with the two new ambassadors the relations between Algeria and their respective countries and the prospects for their enhancement.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received today a phone call from his brother, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlut Cavusoglu who congratulated him on his appointment as head of the Algerian diplomacy, wishing him success in his missions.

The two parties discussed during this call, developments relating to efforts to overcome the consequences of the destructive earthquake that struck various regions of southern Turkey in early February. The Turkish minister has, by the same occasion, reiterated his gratitude to Algeria, leadership, government and people, for the great momentum of solidarity with his country following this disaster.

The two ministers also reviewed the Algerian-Turkish relations based on friendship, cooperation and solidarity, welcoming the momentum they are experiencing, under the continued interest and direct monitoring of the presidents of the two brotherly countries, driven by a common desire to establish a comprehensive economic partnership while strengthening political coordination on all issues of common interest.
